Business Manager for Central/Eastern England
(Preferably based in the Bedford/Cambridge area)
Philip Kingsley are expanding their sales division & are looking for an experienced sales professional to join the team. This demanding role involves selling our premium hair care range into existing accounts & also prospecting for new business. You will need to have a minimum of 2 years field sales experience, preferably within the hair or beauty industry.
Some of our customers include Harrods, Vidal Sassoon, Liberty of London, John Lewis & Marks & Spencer. You will need to deliver a high level of customer service to meet our clients expectations & be extremely motivated & confident. Full training will be provided
The candidate will be expected to:
- Meet and/or exceed sales targets
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
- Advise on forthcoming product developments and promotions
- Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
- Prospect potential customers and develop new business
- Present the brand in a structured professional way face to face
- Represent the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues
- Deliver ‘hands on’ treatment & product knowledge training
- Journey planning
Essential Skills & Experience
- At least 2yrs hair & beauty sales experience
- Excellent time management
- Highly organised
- Good presentation skills
- Enjoy networking
- Strong administrative skills
- Focussed & driven

- Pleasant and outgoing personality
- Customer service orientated
- Must be committed, positive and hardworking
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
