For this year’s Actor Awards on 1 March 2026, we proudly partnered with celebrity hairstylist Ericka Verrett to create the red carpet hair look for acclaimed British actress, Erin Doherty.
As one of the stars of Netflix’s multi-award-winning, global hit Adolescence, Erin Doherty deservedly took home the gong for Best Actress in a Limited Series for her role, adding to an extraordinary awards season sweep that has also seen her win at this year’s Emmys and Golden Globes.
To protect the health of Erin’s locks — and keeping the hair and scalp healthy, luminous and resilient during the hectic Awards season styling schedule — celebrity hairstylist Ericka Verrett created Erin’s red-carpet-ready hair using products from our Maximizer and Styling ranges.

The brief was effortless glamour with a very subtle curl, for hair that felt chic and touchable yet supported. Think less dramatic than a traditional Hollywood wave, but with the same hallmark of smoothness and shine. The relaxed, elegant style gently juxtaposed the sharp structure of Erin’s strapless Louis Vuitton gown.
Sharing Erin’s sophisticated soft look to her Instagram, Ericka revealed the step-by-step breakdown of how it was achieved.
“Start by shampooing and conditioning the hair with Moisture Balancing Shampoo and Conditioner. Then, whilst hair is still damp, mist Maximizer Root Boosting Spray through the roots for subtle volume. To plump fine strands, apply Maximizer Strand Plumping Cream through mid-lengths and ends, and comb through to evenly distribute. Rough dry to about 80%.
“Tame flyaways with a round brush for smoothness and soft volume. Next, create a light bend with a hot tool for gentle movement, then pin the front to set a soft S-wave. Once secure, remove the pins, gently brush into place, and finish with a small amount of Frizz-Fighting Gloss Smoothing Serum for glossy shine and added softness.”
